All our protector blankets feature heavy black Nomex fabric specifically designed to protect against heat and fire. Our blankets are the finest available, hand made and sewn with black Kevlar thread. They feature:
- Heavy duty 6oz black Nomex
- All edges are double sewn to keep from fraying
- We place the shock cord eyelet toward the edge and on the fabric bias to avoid fraying.
- All eyelets are reinforced with another piece of Nomex fabric with extra stitching around the opening
- Large blankets also feature an extra smaller blanket sewn onto the center for double protection for large rockets and large ejection charges.
- Blankets are sized for popular airframe diameters to provide extra protection without being to bulky.
